I really find it hard to believe that this thread has 50 replies considering the geographic locations of most of the people here are not anywhere even close to Santilli and it is just a thread reporting the temperature of where he is located. Why does anybody care?

You do realise that one of the side effects of a global warming, is that you will have more extremes in weather patterns, including *colder* winters with more severe storms during your traditional storm season?

Oh sure, that's what they say now. However, less than 10 years ago there were stories bemoaning the fact that kids in the future wouldn't know what snow was, etc, etc...
Now after it turns out they were wrong they've changed their tune and claim any extreme or severe weather is proof of global warming or as they like to call it now climate change. Sorry, but I don't buy it. It's a non falsifiable theory, which means it's not a theory or science at all, but something more akin to a religion.

I expected nothing less from you than insults since you can't engage me on the facts.
It doesn't matter if you think global warm is real or not. It doesn't matter if you believe that the earth is warming and it's caused by humans or not caused by humans. When you've got a group of people pushing a political agenda disguised as science and no matter what actually happens to the weather or climate it serves as "proof" of their claims. Further, there is nothing that could happen to the weather / climate that would disprove their theory to them. You should be very, very skeptical because that sure isn't science. Science is built around falsifiable hypotheses. If you can't prove a theory false it can't be proven true.

They point to the melting of the icecaps. Only problem is they forget that a while back, the ice nearly doubled, as did the bear population. Now we are loosing bears because
the ice caps are shrinking, giving them less liveable habitat.
That seems to be a cyclic area, not caused by humans.
I haven't seen this kind of cold, for this duration since around 1999 in this area. We had one spell where it was 27 degrees at 10PM, and got a bit colder.
Stayed that way for a week. This is for nearly 3 weeks, night time temps around or below freezing. It's nearly a month of freezing night temperatures. VERY unusual in this area.

This is getting absurd. it's 32 degrees outside at 11:30. IT'S FORCASTED TO GO TO 25 DEGREES.That's the coldest I can remember ever, in Walnut Creek, EVER.
I went to the gym. Got hot, didn't notice it was cold, and had on a tank top and sweatshirt. Came in the house, felt very hot. Maybe 68 in the house. No wonder. It's bloody 32 degrees...
As I came home, 4 police cars. Two escorted someone back from the corner 7/11 to their house across the street. Probably a slightly drunk cop, making a beer run, or a friend of the police. Anyone else is going to jail.
