It's 22F here. What are you complaining about? Don't even try, I'll always beat you at this game.

Adcadet will often have colder temperature outside in Minnesota than I have here, but it is generally dryer there than it is here.

I'm intrigued. What's the coconut cake like at the Canadian Honker?

BTW, I assume Adcadet would prefer we didn't name the hospital on this forum ...

Never had the coconut cake, but the Honker is respectable.

With my location described as it is, it's really easy to figure out where I work and for what organization. Googling works as well, and points to this forum.

We are SO interested in knowing what weather it is in the Bay Area. You should start hourly updates.

Yes, it is seriously ridiculous. Maybe if the temps were -10°C there it might be interesting.

Another 32 degree morning. This is really unusual for this area. It's usually not this cold, for this long. If it gets into the 20's around Christmas this maybe one of the coldest years ever here.

Same again. Forecast has changed. Last night was 31, and its 37 right now, they are predicting 27-29 the next couple nights. That is record lows for this area.

I really find it hard to believe that this thread has 50 replies considering the geographic locations of most of the people here are not anywhere even close to Santilli and it is just a thread reporting the temperature of where he is located. Why does anybody care?

Sorry, but I'm being annoying today and not letting things be. Tis the season to -- Bah humbug everyone.

It's pretty much a record cold spell, both in length, and in temperatures for Norcal.
It's already 33, and it's supposed to go to 29.

I'm keeping this as a chronicle of the temperatures, proving Gore was right, it's global warming. What a f... moron.

You do realise that one of the side effects of a global warming, is that you will have more extremes in weather patterns, including *colder* winters with more severe storms during your traditional storm season?

Oh sure, that's what they say now. However, less than 10 years ago there were stories bemoaning the fact that kids in the future wouldn't know what snow was, etc, etc...

Now after it turns out they were wrong they've changed their tune and claim any extreme or severe weather is proof of global warming or as they like to call it now climate change. Sorry, but I don't buy it. It's a non falsifiable theory, which means it's not a theory or science at all, but something more akin to a religion.

Damn, you really like to talk thru your ass sometimes.
I expected nothing less from you than insults since you can't engage me on the facts.

It doesn't matter if you think global warm is real or not. It doesn't matter if you believe that the earth is warming and it's caused by humans or not caused by humans. When you've got a group of people pushing a political agenda disguised as science and no matter what actually happens to the weather or climate it serves as "proof" of their claims. Further, there is nothing that could happen to the weather / climate that would disprove their theory to them. You should be very, very skeptical because that sure isn't science. Science is built around falsifiable hypotheses. If you can't prove a theory false it can't be proven true.

They point to the melting of the icecaps. Only problem is they forget that a while back, the ice nearly doubled, as did the bear population. Now we are loosing bears because
the ice caps are shrinking, giving them less liveable habitat.

That seems to be a cyclic area, not caused by humans.

I haven't seen this kind of cold, for this duration since around 1999 in this area. We had one spell where it was 27 degrees at 10PM, and got a bit colder.
Stayed that way for a week. This is for nearly 3 weeks, night time temps around or below freezing. It's nearly a month of freezing night temperatures. VERY unusual in this area.

This is getting absurd. it's 32 degrees outside at 11:30. IT'S FORCASTED TO GO TO 25 DEGREES.That's the coldest I can remember ever, in Walnut Creek, EVER.

I went to the gym. Got hot, didn't notice it was cold, and had on a tank top and sweatshirt. Came in the house, felt very hot. Maybe 68 in the house. No wonder. It's bloody 32 degrees...

As I came home, 4 police cars. Two escorted someone back from the corner 7/11 to their house across the street. Probably a slightly drunk cop, making a beer run, or a friend of the police. Anyone else is going to jail.

True. It's a wet cold, which doesn't help. 34 now, and dropping. They are perdicting 25 tonight, or lower.

Truckee, and Nevada Sierras are all single digits, like 6 and 8.

It's warmer in Nevada City and Auburn, by about 8-10 degrees then here...
Winner is Stanford, and F@H. 98 degree air, coming out of the computer top is a welcome edition...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walnut_Creek,_California#Climate

Record low from the 1893''s to 1974 or so was 18 degrees in December. I moved her in the mid 60's, left in 72, and have been around since 1995. I guess I missed the 18 degree days, though it did hit 27 or less about 12 years ago.

The average low in December is 37, and, we have been about 5 degrees below that, consistently, this month.

Now 25.7
