Here is a thread to talk about gaming

Everyone I know under 30 have plenty of stuff. Nearly every new iPhone, nice new cars at 16, every gizmo under the sun, plenty of clothing, jewelry, etc. Even the guys are way overblown with stuff. Of course most of them don't know much about a GPU function, but they want the best ones, which...

    Blocked Internet Connection

Since I don't know all about IT support, I simply restore the whole C: with Acronis or Macrium Reflex, etc. That takes less than 5 minutes and fixes anything done at the software level. Obviously it does nothing for a bad HDD/SSD or power supply or some external factors.

    Need a Decent Phone

I still need a phone to replace the aging A53, then I will do a double substitution with the A54. Right now it would be the hulking S24 FE, S24+ or the upcoming S25+. I'm not getting anything other than Samsung. Having to learn some crazy new interface and have two substantially different...

If you have Gb+ Wi-Fi and are indoors it is probably faster than the cell data unless you are near a transmitter. That is not just about saving data. For example do you get good cell service in the basement and all interior areas of the home? Many people don't, although everyone doesn't have...

It's $18 per month or $350 once. I'm paying $110 for three phones. If I upgrade to some new BS plan that costs me more, that is not saving money. I use less than 2GB about 11 out of 12 months. Sometimes there are several updates and I'm not homely on the Wi-Fi. I don't watch video on the puny...

    Ryzen

Initial reports in July indicated that the X870E was a step backwards since they were usurping PCIe lanes for USB 4. Is it possible to reclaim those USB 4 PCIe lanes in the BIOS or are they shared bandwidth and it makes no difference to PCIe usage?

Age is not at all a metaphysical BS. Organ failures highly correlate to age. And if you want to live to 100 it is not fun or painless. Make sure you have a lot of money saved.

I would have purchased an A55, but it's not available. Unfortunately T..Mobiles has no meaningful discounts on those S class phones hardly ever. They have some nonsense that the phone is cheaper up front if you add an expensive line or upgrade to an extra cost plan, so you are paying for it...

One can buy 1.3TB CFe Type B cards for about $500, but I don't have a body with two CFe slots to copy between them. The Nexto NPS-10 did just about everything including 250-350 MB/sec. USB OTG, but they went out of business during pandemosc. There were some lame and wimpier devices, but none...

If you want stable memory, then run it at JEDEC standard speeds and use a fully ECC chipset. Some higher RAM speeds are not beneficial depending on the clock ratios. Aren't you like early 40s? Wait until you are a true seniro to start complaining about age.

It takes four lanes to get an SSD. Are you using the U.2/U.3 SSDs? The M.2 BS is only 8TB at most and not so many DWPD. I'm not sure what you are doing, some financial or engineering work? It doesn't seem like you are mainly a content creator or using any cards that would support 16x PCIe...
