I've been using a MacBook Pro 13" at work since March. The hardware is nice and I can actually use it on an airplane.
I have been to weddings with the following arrangements:
A couple kegs of beer
No bar at all; go to the cash bar in the restaurant connected to the banquet hall if you want something
Full open bar
Free wine and beer; cash bar for everything else
Different places tend to do things differently...

Depends on what browser. Chrome tabs are sandboxed, but several tabs can share one sandbox and if you have multiple tabs opened with the same domain they will share data such as local storage and cookies. This is how you can login to a website in one tab and open multiple tabs and remain logged...
If you're starting a CS program at University of Kentucky in the fall I'd go with an Ubuntu variant. The intro level courses I looked at are in Python and C++.
The set I bought is pretty nice. However, if you want something with more power, they have them. These ones only come with 2 1.3Ah batteries. This is sufficient for my needs though. All of the Dewalt 20v batteries are compatible.
With a regular drill you need to put a ton of pressure on it to prevent stripping it. The impact driver is completely different, it makes driving screws easy enough that a child could do it. This article explains the difference pretty well.
I drove 36 2" screws today without stripping a single one.
I bought a Dewalt impact driver drill combo. The impact driver is amazing for driving screws in. I drove some 2 and 3 inch drywall screws and it was like going through butter.
