This is nothing new. And I'm pretty sure this is not the flaw that the MS VP was referring to in his testimony. Inter-process communication is useful and necessary but should be secured. What is even scarier than being able to send arbitrary messages to any window is being able to hook into...
I'm looking to buy one of these and wondered if you guys had any thoughts. Original SR thread is here.
What do you think of Orange Micro's cards?
Anybody have any thoughts on the DV Software?
Should I buy the USB 2.0 + Firewire combo?
I'm going to use it with a Sony MiniDV camcorder.
Just...
I usually say buy a dell or if they really want to go to a store, but an HP.
And don't buy the $600 PC and then come crying to me. You just can't buy a decent computer for $600... no matter what the ad/spec says.
Most problems I find with store bought computers aren't usually hardware related...
I use alt+shift+tab (reverse order alt-tab)
shift+tab (backwards movement between fields)
shift+F10 (context menu for those keyboards without one)
shift+delete (really delete a file)
windows+r (run command)
windows+f (find files)
windows+e (explorer)
and I keep hitting windows+i hoping it will...
Never tried it... but after reading the following...
W3C HTML 4.01 documentation
Essentially use percentages to specify width and height of images and I think it will work. Note that 50% is not half the size of the image but half the size of the available horizontal or vertical space.
Pointless? not sure.
To make any sense I think the separate head circuitry gives two separate interfaces. One is hooked up to an admin machine. The other is hooked up to the server itself. The question then becomes, doesn't IIS need to write some stuff?
Say the server got hacked. The hacker...
Oh and the price is quite high considering I could have gotten the LG 32x model at $59.99 after rebates from best buy a week or two ago. American dollars that is.
That isn't really strange.... it happens on a lot of networks I've been on.
We had some sort of server behind a router/firewall. Everybody on the inside had to use the internal IP. Everybody on the outside had to use the outside IP. I really don't know why the outside IP didn't resolve to the...
Microsoft was already convicted of cooking their books.
They were spreading revenue across quarters to even out there earnings.
We are talking not reporting all your profit here! Quite amazing that you would even consider doing that. The SEC gave them a warning or something.

I'm the one with the red shirt sitting down.
It was a good thing I shaved that day.
I've only been shaving once a week lately.
I was at a grad party on saturday and there was some volleyball going on. I haven't played volleyball in a few years. I played like 4 matches. My legs were killing me the next few days, especially the stabilizer type muscles. It wasn't till yesterday that I was back at 100%. I'm only 26.
6-10 weeks and counting!
I have a counter on my baby page. It only counts in days since a) we are not quite sure the exact day let alone time of conception b) counting the hours, minutes, and seconds just seemed to be going overboard.
Well I have a 256MB PC133 Dimm laying around.
But I'm not sure if it works or if it is really PC133.
It worked fine in my computer, then I replaced it with two crucial ones.
However, I think it was PC133 at CAS 3.
I recently tried it in my brothers computer and no go.
Maybe it needed registered...
I found this article on how to do it:

Turns out that what I suspected was true... you have to tell windows your are a console app when vb usually tells windows it is a windowed app. This involves modifying the executable.
I thought using GetStdHandle and WriteConsole would work... but GetStdHandle doesn't seem to work.
The code I tried:
Option Explicit
Public Const STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE As Long = -11
Public Const INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE As Long = -1
Public Declare Function GetStdHandle Lib "kernel32" (ByVal...
The nomination list looks good.
My opinions on the administrative/policy issues:
(sorry for dragging the thread more off-topic... but I felt my opinion needed to be expressed... even if we aren't considering changes to the existing policies)
