    Need KT266A board cheap

Not that easy. I've had one go at it on a 8KHA+ and soldering the caps back on with good penetration is hard. You run the risk of generating a dry solder joint if you cannot get the solder to flow into the hole. Given the time I've spent so far, it's just as easy and cost efficient to pick up...

    Best movie you've seen

Merc's talking about the new (re-imagined) BSG, not the '80's series. I know people who wouldn't be caught dead watching sc-fi/fantasy who watch BSG. There is some very good story writing in the series. Damn strike, I want series 4... Yeah, Merc, I want to know what type of HD setup you are...

    MAC vs Windows

Must be slow news week/month. When things are slow, a Mac v Windows, Windows v Linux, Intel v AMD, NVIDIA v ATi, Mainframe v PC or some such piece is guaranteed to get page hits. Better yet, keep the arguments the same and just do a global S & R on the protagonists. Bingo! You've got an...

    Yorkfield (45nm) quad-core mobo advice

Is 400 (1600) FSB support important? Only the X48 chipset and its derivatives (not yet released) will officially support 1600FSB. NVIDIAs 680i seems to have some issues, though this appears more an implementation issue rather than chipset limitations...

Religious scholars mull Flying Spaghetti Monster

No, No. A stripper factory is a factory that builds cars for stock (and I don't consider NASCAR stock!) car racing. No seats/door trims/radio,cd, mp3 player/sound proofing/head lining etc. At least, that's what I though Merc meant... Yeah. And if you believe that one, I've got a bridge I...

It's a salt pan. And no I don't know. Anyone who says they do know is lying. But animals are adaptable, and the lake fills at irregular intervals anyway to varying levels. Man made flooding won't be any different to natural in this instance, the only difference is that the lake won't dry up...

Granted. But even 1900 x 1200 won't cut it and I can't see 3800 x 2400 panels at reasonable sizes and form factors on the horizon. Getting panels with that many transistors defect free in quantity is a daunting task.
