Newegg flash ads circumventing Flash Click to View?

mubs, Sorry, I didn't do anything per se through FF. I don't know if there is a configuration option (although I'd think that there probably is somewhere). As I have set TB set as my default mail app (via the option available within TB to do so), TB gets launched. Perhaps there is...

Newegg flash ads circumventing Flash Click to View?

So ~ a month later and v0.9 on board .... Last night I was minding my own business, just goofing around with icon arrangements on the toolbar when all of a sudden, without any provocation, I was blind sided by none other then my beloved mail icon with hooks to your mail app of choice. It...

Well, personally I'm a little bit dissapointed. After so much build up, I was hoping that, at the very least, the words "three alarm blaze" or "it took hours to get it under control" would have found their way into the follow up.

This is what happens when you run a red light

Agreed Disagree. The Subaru was travelling in the left west* bound lane. The Pedestrian was already within the right west bound lane at the moment the two cars impacted. The Subaru is noticeably driven northwards (as should be expected) before it even begins to roll. Go full screen mode and...

[NEWS] - Philips launches dual-layed 16x DVD burner

End of year maybe....wouldn't hold your breathe on it though.... Try to find someone with a LiteOn and use an appropriate tool to enable bitsetting (if not already set in the drives firmware) and try it out with your Pioneer.

[NEWS] - Philips launches dual-layed 16x DVD burner

Free, Are you aware of bitsetting - allows you to burn + discs with a -rom booktype...greatly increases compatibility. Pretty much ubiquitiously available for all LiteOn burners, some NEC drives, and maybe others.

If you have time, check out the GotTVPVR HTPC app. It may be of interest to some of you. I've been using GotTV (as a standalone) for 3-4 months now. Played with the v1 Beta of GotTVPVR a bit a couple of months ago, but have to say things are miles ahead now in v2. A Little Background...

That's awefully noble of OWC to be straight up about the requirement. Its a shame other manu's aren't as forthright and don't spell out the performance oddities affecting the wares they peddle. Sounds like some sort of quartz crystal limitation in the design. I wonder how many other cards...

    AOpen AK89

Doug, Without reading up on that particular AOpen mobo, my nit picks are: - the absolute retarted placement of the 4 pin power connector - non native SATA (but if your going to be using PATA, this matters little) - the PCI based Gbit LAN - probably lacks a PCI/AGP lock (which will not...

Thanks Merc. And I too have to say that FF (v0.8) is incredibly stable. No, no, not on newegg, but on various websites. For example, at the top of the page on http://techreport.com/ All the ads on the different sites are the same, "Are you overclocked? We are...blah blah blah". PS. its possible this may be attributable to my config only, but I'm not certain what...

Do your CRT's make noise in the middle of the night?

Thermal expansion and contraction sounds very logical (and quite possibly accounts for the majority of cases), but I note that this can occur even when a CRT/monitor hasn't been used in days and is in a stable thermal environment. Unless the plastic housings are particularly sensitive to...

Do your CRT's make noise in the middle of the night?

Something that I've been wondering about for several years is why CRT devices seem to make an aweful creaking/cracking type noise in the middle of the night (sounds like the devices plastic casing is being stretched or put through torsional stresses). Static discharge and Yoke shift?

But in many cases, governance is sheerly lacking. The weekend events in Afganistan clearly show that that the situation there is little better then a collection of distinct tribal groups within the confines of a broader geographical boundry. Palastine - is there effective leadership, let alone...
