For a low memory system I would stick with something running LXDE or XFCE, which is why I recommended Xubuntu or Lubuntu. I run Xubuntu on 3 of my systems.
I have a set of the RS160 and I don't think they sound that great. When listening to music with any amount of bass or watching action movies they usually fall short.
I used Firefox for a long time. There were some extensions that just weren't available for Chrome.
I switched over to Chrome about a year ago mainly because Chrome feels a lot faster. The application I was developing at the time with a very intensive JavaScript front-end performed much better...
I set it to 3 last night before going to bed.
I did notice that my system felt pretty laggy when it was doing GPU folding with Folding Power set to Full. What setting do you guys use for that?
FAHControl now seems able to modify the config. I have no idea why it works now and it didn't before. I checked earlier today and it was doing CPU and GPU folding.
Thanks for the help.
I think my issue is that I couldn't find any documentation on how to manually configure config.xml. If I could simply change the configuration manually and know what the various options are it would be much easier.
Having a human-readable configuration file is pointless if I am not supposed to...
Yes, I'm using the proprietary drivers. I just manually changed my config.xml and added a GPU slot. It doesn't appear to be a completely valid configuration, but it started GPU folding. Though, now CPU folding is broken.
I am running an x86_64 kernel. I am also using the 64 bit client.
Yes, I tried adding a GPU slot several times. I just tried again and the only thing that showed in the log is this:
05:11:36:Saving configuration to config.xml
05:11:36:<config>
05:11:36: <!-- Folding Slot Configuration -->...
I'm attempting to run the F@H Client with GPU folding, but can't seem to get GPU folding to work.
My GPU is a GTX 650 Ti, which I believe is supported.
Log file is attached.
Any help is appreciated.
I was pointing this out because generally Apple is considered overpriced. I find it ridiculous that Asus is charging more than Apple for very similar hardware.
I have been looking for something like this for my wife for Christmas. Here's what I'd like to find:
Resolution: 1920x1080 or higher
Display: 13.3"
Memory: 8GB or 4GB that supports up to 8GB
HDD: 256GB SSD
Price: $1000 or less
The Asus Zenbook UX301 matches these specs, but it's $1800.
I assume you mean Gravity? If the spelling is from autocorrect, that's crazy bad autocorrect.
I have not seen it. IMDB ratings generally start high and go down over time.
