Me too, windows backup won't go to either a time capsule HFS+ or a exFAT volume for apparently similar reasons. If it would simply drop a file on a drive all of this would be resolved.

I do find it strange they made two different models to serve the 4G/LTE market in the US and ignored the rest. I don't even know if they will do LTE in europe when they build that out, they are a bit behind in the rollout but they do have a superior GSM deployment to the US I hear.
