    New Tecra (Mercutio probably vomits)

How much amperage does the power brick put out? We've found that the newer IBMs are burning up the older power bricks. The new bricks can put out ~4.5A while the old ones can only put out ~3.5A.

Anybody been involved with the bone marrow donor program?

Yes. The reciepient's doctor requests which method. Sometimes both (at seperate times). The T-cell methods requires the donor to sit with needles in both arms for 5 hours.

Anybody been involved with the bone marrow donor program?

I inquired about the actual procedure if there is a match. The lady said that some people could go back to work the next day but some could be out for a week. Typical was two days off then back to work. Can someone who is identified as a potential donor match decline to donate? The time I was...

Anybody been involved with the bone marrow donor program?

I have been identified as a potential match (I was IDed once before as well) and have made it through preliminary testing. Within the next 60 days I'll find out if they want to go to final testing with me. Anybody donated marrow or T-cells before?

Windows Media Player: which version is best?

Some people like the MRU drop down you get with the intermediate window. Me, I work from a document centric approach and never use file|open. I prefer to keep an explorer window open and right-click open or open-with. The closest I get to file|open is file and then choosing from the MRU list at...

Chopper to pluck returning space capsule in mid-air

That bit of air is a gas and is known as a fluid in the field of fluid dynamics. And it is in between the head and platter as I said.

Chopper to pluck returning space capsule in mid-air

I'm most intrigued by the fluid dynamics happening between the flying head and the platter. Especially since the movement that generates the lift is not of the object that is flying.

Copying from one location to another

That would be tough because the controller doesn't even know what "data" is. The biggest problem I see is not for the drive to know what you want ot move but where to put it. The drive wouldn't know if the area was used or available. The drive would have to have knowledge/understanding of file...

Copying from one location to another

The drive itself does not know anything about the file structure that resides on it. It doesn't even know what file system is on it. This operation must be handled by the OS and you can guess what that means.
