Paugie, are you saying that you've been using the same razor blade for months? That is really awful. Tannin, not everyone can grow a beard. I have exactly the same problem as mubs. You know, you'd think someone would figure out a way to make hair removal easier...

I haven't noticed any particular problem with bigger Samsung drives. I have lots of 250GB units. Generally the "least reliable" Samsung units I'm aware of have been 80GB 2MB cache models, but even those I think I've RMA'd four out of about 350 over a three year period. The Hitachi 7k250 and...

I probably would've jumped if the drives had been Hitachi or Samsung. As it stands, the 400GB Samsung drive is a very reasonable $145 or so. That's still a lot of money when you want to replace 24 drives. Personally I don't see a problem with PATA. I just want capacity.

Either way it's a scam. My barber did it with hot towels, a brush and shaving soap, not hot lather. I'm thinking that, even if the man is a professional shaver, I've had years of practice to get good at shaving and so far, here is what I know: If I shave the way you're supposed to, I have a 5...

Best free software to undelete files

Runtime Software's Get Data Back has a 30 day trial. It's by far the best recovery software I've found. "Free" programs for Windows tend to either not be worth the bits they're written with or else only show you want you could recover if only you gave the developer $99.95.

Anyone here shave with a straight razor or old-fashioned safety razor? Couple days ago I got a haircut and my barber offered to shave my face, too. My face didn't get irritated at all from his razor and today it was almost painful to go back to the Gillette disposable. I've looked into it and...

I'm not knocking sports as a tool for social interaction. I'm sure plenty of people become friendly with teammates who play, or who meet as fans in a bar or at a game. I just don't think sport in and of itself is worthy of the pedestal on which it seems to have been placed. The Olympics seem an...

Absolutely. I've never seen the point of competitive sports. Some sports I find particularly irksome, like golf (for the huge space needed to "play"), football and baseball (for the large space needed to play, lack of action, strict/obscure rules and large amount of equipment needed). I...
