Try just switching DNS servers and see if your problem goes away. Verizon's are 4.2.2.3 - .6 Other than that, if you've got some kind of Network OS sitting around, you could set up a nice caching DNS server.

I ripped them from the source CDs using CDex and specified the system of organization I prefer. The pop stuff is largely scavenged from "My Shared Folders" on various PCs I've worked on. ID3 tags are pretty much inadequate for classical stuff.
