    Moderator #3: call for nominations

Good grief. I'm away for two days and .... I am still wondering why all policies and procedures are not posted for common access. I have no problem with administrative activities happening behind the scenes, quite the contrary. But, it is quite disconcerting to not know what rules those who...

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! 1-0 - for the moment

Interestingly, while watching the replays of the S. Korea and Portugal I saw a whole bleacher section of fans waving signs that said "Corea". I never knew anyone spelled it that way. Could have been a word in portuguese(sp?). Certainly, someone in this thread is confused. :-?

Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Champions Again

I hate the redwings. They are the '80s Detriot pistons of hockey. Is is a coincedence that they are both based in detriot. Hmmm :P Funny thing is a lot of my favorite players are redwings now. My favorite players are the ex-blues: Shanahan, Hull. The ones that make me dislike the 'wing are...

One IDE controller controls 2 IDE devices: one master, one slave. Until recently motherboards came with 2 controllers on board. More recently, motherboards come with an additional RAID controller(s) which can be used in a non-RAID mode and increases the number of controllers.

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that my reading of the thread is this: Jake believes that no matter how "squashed" a country/people group might feel they are not justified in doing something on the scale of 9/11. But, that sort of incident or any incident really should be taken...

I finally had to decide to let other people make decisions for me. Where to live.. stuff like that. Although I had made the decision to call it quits, I was not emotionally strong enough to enforce the decision on myself. I agree with on his last paragraph. You are no ones fall back plan.
