I'd pretty much need screenshots in of your BIOS to be much help. But if possible you could turn off things like Video BIOS Shadow or System BIOS cacheable... but I doubt those are settings that would be exposed in an IBM BIOS.

Did you check the properties for recording volume and recording source?

Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > General Tab > DPI Setting 120dpi is probably fine. You can try custom sizes but they tend to make the various windows widgets look funny.
