Well, I wouldn't moan about that 17" optiquest display. Curved screen or no, that's a fine budget monitor (better a curved Optiquest than a flat KDS or Shamrock)... Surprises: No IDE in the "god box". That 73LP is way, way out of place given the capacity and performance of the "special edition"...

Prof, SR just isn't where "home" is online right now. Not to me, anyway. Hopefully someday soon this site will be able to stand on its own two feet and you'll see a visit here no differently from a visit to any number of other techie forums (only better). In my mind SR's future is still...

DrunkenBastard should take the time to sample a few of our finer, cheaper alcoholic products... You might see MadDog (MD) 20/20 in the wine section of your local supermarket. They're lying. It's bright green or hot pink, and perfectly suited for hand to hand combat. Mogen David - $5 for a...

My batty Great Aunt had a Scottish Fold (that's a cat breed) that she set a place at the table for. When she passed away, my parents inherited her... and quickly found that the only way to get her to eat was to set her food on a plate, at the table. Same cat used to sit on the piano bench with...

The quick answer is, it's being talked about. Personally, I try to at least remain aware of what's being talked about on SR, but I come here first... and with good reasons. Look at SR's Bar and Grille right now and tell me it doesn't hurt to see things how things are right now. At the same...
