The NID is the last piece of ISP equipment before handing off to internal wiring. Over time the cost of a NID has decreased such that including intelligence into the device so that more precise monitoring and alerting back to the ISP is financially feasible.
Typically the NID would not have...
I have had a Gerber Paraframe I for a while. Not edc but only while backpacking. I have no need for an edc knife, I leave a paring knife in my desk drawer. My brevity is not intended to poop on anyone's hobby.
There are already court cases in progress challenging the authority of the FTC over ANY services offered by Telecom companies.

Near monopolies abusing customers lack of choice. It's all about preserving consumer choice.
That's some real paranoid stuff right there. As a network engineer I'm can't even imagine how a more open internet is more ripe for abuse from TLAs.
Wait a minute, did you just switch sides? Uh nope...
I don't trust the connection providers consolidating with the content providers to not construct an artificial barrier to access. The same problem that is easily seen with tv channel packages.
This comment is internally inconsistent. If they found reason enough to do something when they were not supposed to; why would they not do it more when restrictions are removed.
Is Intel incapable of creating such a solution on their own, or is it just not economical for them to produce an enthusiasts product? Is this deal to bridge the time until Intel can get design and production of their own solution ramped up?
Perhaps coincidentally, but since a recent security update I am not able to wirelessly charge my phone. They recognize each other but the phone continues to discharge. The USB cable will works fine.
I would not drink tap water in FL. Tastes like NG was mixed in. And the week at a time that I was there did not make filtering the water economical considering all the restaraunts had drinkable water.
What is the speculated way they will eventually get EV drivers to pay their share of road construction, maintenance, and all the other stuff gas taxes pay for? Currently that share of the TCO goes too the manufacturers I think.
During the lead up we could tell it was getting cooler, similar to sunrise/sunset.
The odd part was that the shadows indicated mid-day while it was getting darker.
:)
I was completely unprepared to take pictures; and holding a piece of that solar film in front of my phone camera lense did not produce good results.
I'd be much more worried about slowing the group down than maxing out each hole. You could play a "best ball" type game where you take your next shot from the location of the group's best shot. Do this and it's likely you can even leave your hand wedge at home.
It's really amazing that it could not have been diagnosed in 35 years. Maybe a symptom of doctor's specialization. Glad she finally got a diagnosis leading to the best treatment.
It should actually be more of a concern. Since your brick layer is not as thick the external face is more likely to be kept above freezing by the internal heat in its current state. But even any problems would depend on the quality of your brick.

What is the fundamental value in cryptocurrency/mining? Is its value a self fulfilling prophecy waiting for reality? I've never been accused of having vision for this sort of thing but are we talking about investing in beany babies here?
The details of why and an entertaining read:

Note the warnings from the first article all through this article...
For a multi wythe brick building in an environment that has a significant number of freezing days in a year you want EIFS. You do not want to insulate the interior of the brick.
The NAS sees the encrypted file as a single large file that the workstation operates on. It may also try to cache it. The workstation sees a very large file. How efficiently does your workstation handle an equivalently large photoshop or premier file opened locally or from the NAS?
Anyone familiar with accubattery android app or any other app useful for determining the age and health of the battery? I'm particularly interested in accuracy. My new S7 does not last as long as I expected.
Handy, I'm not sure I understand the dilemma. Primarily you're worried about the cat's health? I think I'd be worried about secondary ingestion of rat poison if you love in a multi unit building. The rabbits and chipmunks my dogs catch are free range so I only have to worry about bad breath.:-)
