How do I get 1600x1200 on an integrated 6100 video card? Even 1280x1024 would be nice...

Latest drivers; and a few older ones do nothing. Omega has stopped nVidia development. BIOS states that I've allocated 128MB of RAM to video (the maximum), You'd think that would be enough?

I'm using 1280x1024 on one right now.
There's no reason they shouldn't support 16x12, either. A 2D display at that resolution should only need 61.4MB of video memory.

Install a monitor driver. I'm currently running 1920x1200 on a 6100, so there is no reason you can't run 1600x1200.

Go into Display Properties->Advanced->Monitor and uncheck the "Hide settings that this monitor can't display". Should give you the option for 1600*1200 now. Alternatively install the monitor driver as Mark suggested.

I can run 1600*1200 @ 16 bit color on an 8MB ATI Rage PCI card. Not enough for 32 (24) bit color tho.

Thanks all. I actually had installed the inf for the monitor off the CD that shipped with it, and it displayed the monitor name correctly, but it took a new inf from Viewsonic's website to correct the problem. Thanks again.
