Sweet. Magnetic disks may keep themselves relevant for a while longer. I keep expecting solid-state stuff to catch up, with all the hype (and therefore research money) around it.

Looks like good news. I'm sure it will trickle down slowly so that they can continue research for the next storage capacity. I'd eventually like to buy a TB drive once prices start coming down.

3 tetrabytes drives by 2010? :eek: Im wonedering how many of us vwill be around to see that conme to fruitition?
