What is the best drive to use with a 3Ware 7500-4? I've read there are issues with the WD, JB series drives. Is this true?

The only RAID 0 issues I've heard are coming from seagate barracuda ATA IV's performing below expectations... all other IDE drives, as far as I know, work fine in raid 0, 1, and 5.

I read a while ago about problems with the Special Edition Caviar (those with 8MB cache) in RAID 5 arrays. Apparently, the way the drive uses its large cache increases the chances to corrupt the data within the array.

True, the WD JB drives don't work well for RAID. There is a thread going on at SR about this at the moment (and it deals mainly with RAID 5 problems).
