A neat little ITX system

I like this beblu case(s). In case you're wondering, the optical drive case connects to the mothership via usb. The price is horrid though.

In general (i.e. talking beyond niche products like ITX, SFF...), I look forward to the day when optical drives and hard drives shrink in size and the footprint of your average computer decreases likewise. I really couldn't care less for a 8 gazillion byte optical disk, but I would, however, be very appreciative of a next generation optical disk that trades in half its capacity for a reduction to a 3.5inch form factor.

It's nice to know what people can buy on the other side of the Atlantic. Here the only thing I can think that ressemble this is the mini Mac. But it's a significantly step backward in term of processing power.

It is unfortunate to see that beblu announced that they are closing up shop.

In happier news, this is a rather interesting mini-cluster.

I read that AOpen is planning a similar system. Or at least they have shown an ITX motherboard for Pentium M at CES this year.
