AMD to slash prices significantly on April 22nd.

If what I've seen at X-bit Labs is true, then people should refrain from buying an AMD processor at 2000+ rating or above before the end of the month.

Also note the absence of the very popular 1700+ as well as all sub-2000+ models from the chart. This probably means they will disapear soon, so people looking for a very cheap AMD-based system should rush to buy a 50$ T'bred 1700+ NOW.

If you can get one, that iz. Over here they are already finished as a mainline, readily available product. Only small quantities of old stock. We switched to the 1800 as our entry-level chip a few weeks ago.
