If you are looking into getting an Ad-Aware program, don't bother with Lavasoft. According to SpywareInfo, they haven't been updating their data files because according to them, they're focusing on their next release, version 6, which was due almost a month ago.
Good thing to know.

Just curious ; those of you who use anti-spyware programs, which one is your favorite? I had to use a few recently. I tried Tauscan and Pest Patrol. The first one is very simple to use, but the later gives more details, like infected cookies and web tracking files. I have only used the trial version of both though and I kept none on my PCs.

I've read the blurbz, but being an ape of very little brain, I can't quite work out what the different verzions give you that actually makes a practical difference. I'd have registered it long ago but I can never work out which one to get. Advice pleaze?
