CHEAP ANTENNA FOR WIRELESS CARD THAT WORKS?

Does anyone have an antenna that works to increase wireless connection quality, for a reasonable price?

Using a Linksys card.

All the antennas that I have gotten helped somewhat. Is this for a desktop (fixed position, directional antenna) or a laptop (varying position, omni-directional antenna)? Which make/model of wireless card (different connectors)?

BTW, I've done business with that company (wlanparts.com) several times with great success.

Hawking makes an inexpensive antenna that I've found helpful in the past, but ddrueding's are even cheaper so I'd say go with those.

I'm using a Wireless-G Linksys router WRT54GL to broadcast to my HTPC desktop, through a Linksys WMP54G.

Once in awhile I use a laptop, using a WPC11, Version 4, Linksys wireless-B notebook adapter.

Suggestions?

Start with a pair of these on your router. If you still need more for the HTPC, then get one of these. The antenna for the WMP54G is a guess, because Linksys doesn't say what connector they use.
