Dell Special on servers? What do experts think of it?

I just got this email. Looked great to start with. Then I saw 2003 server for 799.00? WTH?

It just makes me thank God that we have this forum, and, all it's members, with particular thanks to David....

No optical drive, but otherwise doesn't seem bad for the cost. Don't buy it as a cheap workstation; Dell servers have a bad history for supporting add-on graphics cards.

As to Dell servers in general, we buy dozens if not 100+ PowerEdge 2950s each year.

Dual Core 1.8Ghz? That price can be beat elsewhere I think...
