Double-click *.zip fil > Print

Not sure how this got screwed up, but the default double-click setting for my zip files is now "Print". Normally this is "Open".

How do I change this setting back to "Open".

In File Manager, err, Explorer, do Tools - Folder Options - File Types tab - Find ZIP in the list & click to select. If WinZip, WinRAR, or Compressed Folders (or whatever zip manager you prefer) is not already listed as the app, click Change and select the app you want to use & OK.

Click Advanced and see what the default Action is. Change it to "open".

Yeah, that's where I was looking, but I don't have an "Advanced" tab .. only "Change" and "Restore"

It's already set to Winzip, which is what I want.

Then delete the association for ZIP altogether & OK out. Now, find a ZIP and double-click it to select the default app & behavior.

Okay, I didn't have a "delete' button available. It said something about a custom config I had. So I clicked the "Restore defaults" button. THEN I had the 'Advanced' button available. Which allowed me to reset things after a few tries.
