Drive Label

The labels are falling off of two hard drives, one of whch is very noisy as the adhesive gives and the clack is heard. Now I assume to remove or cut it off will invalidate the warranty.

I would take a picture and contact the manufacturer, explaining why this is a problem. You'll probably get replacements.

Impostor! What have you done with the real CougTek?

He would have said, "I would reattach the labels with my hammer and contact the manufacturer, explaining why this is a problem".

I had that problem with original Vertex drives. Not the noise, but the label coming off. Including the "this will void your warranty" label.

Somehow this drive does not seem to be working right, when it was fine for a year in the laptop.
