I was about to register online, but I can't find any specific info regarding the domain name. I kept trying the whois database, but I don't see a listing for AMD corporation. I only can find this:

I got a bunch of free stuff last time. This time, they apear to be missing my entire state and the nearest would be seattle (a minimum of a 4 hour one-way trip) and it would not be worth it to me to attend that. Maybe they will add more locations later.

There are now alternative registrars. They have separate whois data from network solutions. So you have to go to http://whois.opensrs.net and type in the domain. My willrickards.net domain is in the same whois database. You get:

I'm in. Goodies would be nice - but it's a great excuse to use up those vacation/personal days which I'm never going to get anyway...
