Here's what works for me: Make two folders; Folding-1 and Folding-2 in your "C" partition or where ever.
Copy the FAH consul to both folders. In folder 1, right click on the .exe and Send To (create) and short cut to the desktop. Do the same in folder 2.
Rename the short cuts to Folding-1 and Folding-2. Right click on the shortcut and select properties. In the target add (space)-local.
Sample:
[C:\Folding-2\FAH504-Console.exe -local]
Do the same for the other shortcut.
Then when you double click the icon and setup FAH, give each a different
machine ID
Does anyone know if the top command under Linux will show two instances of FAH504-Linux running or one? I have set up two instances on a dual core linux box as I would a Windows box (two seperate folders, separate configs, different machine numbers), but "top" only shows one instance of FAH--though it's chewing up 99% of CPU.
