Ah ben Tabarnack. Fedora Core 2 test 3 now recognizes and configure the LAN correctly on nForce 2-based mainboards. J'ai mon voyage. I didn't download all those bytes for nothing afterall. One more thing to make me like Linux.

if it matters, the core2 test2 didnt work with my realtek 8169 gigabit NIC(freezes after data transfer), the core2 test3.. or a yum update of the kernel should fix this...

I think I'm going to stick with core2 test2 until the final core2 comes out.

That's the onboard NIC on my motherboard and it hasn't frozen yet.
