Fedora Core 5 is behind schedule

Look at the schedule and try to find FC5 test 1. Nowhere it is. It's the second time FC5 test 1 is delayed. It was originally supposed to be released on November 13th.

This looks bad. Ugly. Almost Condoleeza Rice'd.

So an open source software project is delayed a few weeks. Why is this ugly? And I don't get the Condoleeza Rice reference.

Well, the first thing that comes into my mind WRT to Dr. Rice is that no African American with any respect for his or her own race would want anything to do with the Bush administration... that's pretty ugly to me.

It has been released a few days late. The following comment made me smile :

Fedora Core 5 Test 1 was released to mirrors today. According to the release schedule, Test 1 should have been available a couple of days ago. Late Fedora releases are becoming the norm though - kind of like that friend that never shows up on time for anything.
