It looks to me like it's just a super-expanded version of a bunch of control panel applets. Nothing new is exposed there that isn't under the relevant part of Control Panel.

Nothing new, but my biggest complaint about each new version of windows is that they break out the control panels more and more. This is a quick way to make a bunch of changes.

I still don't know what was wrong with the control panel as it was presented in Win95 - Windows 2000. All the Category view does is piss me off and suck.
