We need a place to dump these, as there are more and more on the market.
My interest stems from accelerating large file shares. Getting 100-500GB of SSD in front of 2-6TB of HDD would be something I could sell a lot of.
OCZ just announced the RevoDrive Hybrid. An all-in-one solution that would interest me at larger capacities for my low end.
Intel's Smart Response caching allows me to spec the SSD and HDD, but doesn't support RAID arrays.
ZFS would allow me to stick whatever SSD I want in front of whatever HDD array I want, but that is too complex for me.
Dataplex is the software that OCZ is using in the RevoDrive Hybrid. Need to look at that some more.
