Limewire is just a Gnutella client, so if you're after content off the gnutella based network, then try one of the other clients listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnutella

PS. Used Limewire a LONG time ago on MacOS 9.2, which it was ok at the time. But still preferred WinMX over it...

My daughter installed it on my computer. I removed it but was wondering how bad it was.

Around 70-80% of machines that come into my workshop with Limewire installed have spyware infestations. Coincidence? You be the judge.
