Someone on Slashdot pointed me to this site.

After playing a bit, my Mozilla installation has reached the point where it is absolutely sublime.

A collection of links to goodies:

Leech - Context batch downloading (e.g. "all the *.zip files linked on this page"). I don't think I need to explain why this rules, do I?

Spellchecker[url] - Spellchecking within your Mozilla Mail client.

[url=http://adblock.mozilla.org]Adblock
- Fine-grained image permissions!

Multizilla - Sweet extensions to tabbed browsing + a handy google toolbox.

Let's try this again, and get it right this time.

Spellchecker - Spellchecking within your Mozilla Mail client.

Adblock - Fine-grained image permissions!

Autoscroll and Optimoz (mouse gestures) are also very good. Also, Adblock doesn't prevent ads from being download (at least not in it's current form), only from being displayed, so it doesn't save any bandwidth.

Meh. I have my own system of blocking images anyway. Of course, sometimes I miss images on this site, like Tea's monkey picture of the day, but that's the cost of having a crappy network connection (who says modem connections aren't "always on"? At least one of my modems has been connected to the internet for the last 70 days...)

Attack of the paleolithic threads!

I just found this which is quite possibly the greatest tool man has developed since the printing press, no, make that the Wheel.

Install it, restart Moz or Firebird, and then when you hit CTRL-SHIFT-S, everything in all tabs thereafter is instantly saved to a folder of your choosing and closed.

I simply must try this when I get home! Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

I've heard that the largest collection of porn in the world belongs to the Vatican.

I'll settle for second place.

SteveC, I think there're nightly builds of .6 that'll probably work. I generally use Moz though, so I downloaded the version that works with my browser (it's about halfway down the page).

You can assign a number of websites/URLs to a group so that when you start the group all the websites open. My most common uses currently are for job boards and to save research I want to come back to.

Howell, unless I'm misunderstanding what you want to do, you can put the bookmarks in a folder and select open in tabs from the dropdown menu.
