Use a cable tie mount on the back of each monitor with a cable tie looped around the cable. Probably stop 90% of opportunistic theft?

There are people who will take anything, even if it's tied down. No one takes my desktops, monitors or keyboards but I've found that if I put USB mice out, they get taken. PS/2 mice? No one takes. The OEM Apple keyboards and mice on my Macs haven't been seen since about a month after I set them up.

I even have a problem with people running off with surge protectors.

Of course this is an open room and there's no internal security, but if I'm having to break down the PCs when I leave, that defeats the purpose of having having computer classrooms at that site.
