The eternal Apache vs. IIS battle is still raging, although according to these news Apache is still leading and widening the gap to IIS.

Apache market share, according to Netcraft, has grown last year from about 62% to 67%.

I wish I had taken and passed by IIS 2.0 exam a few years back.

Er, why? IIS is pathetically simple to administer. The only thing that was on that exam that you might not be able to figure out without basic, grade-school literacy were the SQL error codes.

IIS6 continues the trend. It doens't impress me overmuch, even though it breaks Windows' rules by taking on Apache-type management-by-textfile (metabase.xml) instead of storing itself in the registry.

I'd rather deal with Apache.
