After months of battling with browser settings that simply despised SF's news submission feature, a little help from SF's webmaster Doug "Handy" Handruin went a long way in enabling CityK to finally manage to overcome the restrictions enforced by his web browser.
Doug quickly latched onto the fact that an authentication issue was blocking CityK's attempts to submit news. Although enabling cookies had previously not worked, a plan was devised wereby CK would place www.storageforum.net in the cookie exceptions list. Doug wasn't entirely sure how this would differ from enabling cookies altogether, but thought it was worth a shot anyways. In the end, it was this happazard solution that has seemed to have tamed the Firebird into news submission.
Although he was unavailable for comment after resolving the issue, sources close to CK report that he was heard to say, "From this day forth, let the news submissions flow through the proper channels of the front page".
