Truly 'end of the world' :D. The stock market is still trending downwards, so I might as well make the rest of your day by this 'reality bites' disclosure :p

Now all of you SF's who voted for Obamaman, specially Merc; you all would like to recend your votes now?

I'm thinking most of the SF's members, 'cept maybe Stereodude, are really closet Republicans, pretending to be concerned Dem's...how else can one explain total and complete nonchalance attitude about your consumerism (except maybe jtr, with his old relic computers, getting the last mile out of them before dumping) and lack of concern over the environmental damages this consumerism, e-waste generates...pushing our waste on poorer countries...damned imperialistic USA, Obama will fix that though, correct?
Computer & e-waste 'recycling'-sickening

The United States' 44th President will be a Mac user, as President-Elect Barack Obama and his children have been revealed as having two MacBooks for personal use. Newsweek notes that Michelle Obama, the soon-to-be First Lady, recently purchased the two MacBooks so Barack and his two daughters can video-chat while he is on the road, something likely to be frequent in his new position. 9to5Mac also has a photo of a staffer relying on a MacBook Air on the campaign trail, suggesting that Macs are making an inroads into the positions of highest power in the US. Past presidential hopefuls Al Gore and John Kerry also use Macs, as do President George W. Bush and ex-President Bill Clinton; the latter two, however, have more typically been associated with PCs, if and when they use computers. Clinton is known to have sent only two e-mail messages while in office, and Bush is not known to have sent any.
