I wasn't very excited to read that. I saw that a new version was released, but no info why (nor did I really dig for it). I have no control over when php is updated for us, otherwise it'd be done already.

Nope, I was applying the latest patches to phpbb2 earlier today. They had some serious issues reported not too long ago. A couple weeks ago I made the immediate change which didn't require a full upgrade to 2.0.11, and then decided to upgrade everything today while I saw a minimal amount of people browsing. I'm at the mercy of voxtreme until they get around to upgrading php to 4.3.10

However, thanks mubs for letting me know. I don't always catch the patches when they come out, so I do want you to know I appreciate you mentioning it.

SPCR was hacked overnight, could have been due to this. I can't think hacking an enthusiast site would be a wise move, considering geeks have teeth
