Per-Folder View Options?

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the view options on a per-folder basis in XP SP2? For example, I want one particular folder NOT to display hidden or system files, but if I change it for that folder (even if I don't hit "Apply to all folder") it is applied globally.

Can too! I even got it to boot on a thumb-drive! Of course, making an enterprise-grade communications server that integrates with Active Directory is still out of reach...

Why bother with Active Directory? It's far more of a pain than it's worth, and OpenLDAP isn't that hard to set up.

You might be able to mark it a system folder like windows or program files. That way windows might hide the contents by default until you unhide it?

I guess you could also define an Active Desktop .html file for that folder, if the contents of it don't change that much.
