This Gecko-based browser is supposed to be a lighter version of Mozilla. Release 0.5 takes less memory than the previous releases and it fits in only 6.1MB for the Winblows version. It is pretty fast too.

You can get it here (or the Linux version)

Learn more about it on their home page.

I'd just like to express several dozen kinds of annoyance that, after spending damn near 3 hours downloading Moz 1.2.1 at home (90 minutes or so for each of Linux and Windows versions), upgrading it on 11 machines, and using it for several hours... that the most current release does not support IMAP mail.

WTF is that all about? Phoenix is cool. I like K-meleon better for "lite" browsing, though.

Merc... sorry to hear of your problems but you are simply incorrect... I am using moz 1.2.1 on windows and mandrake 9.0 and I have 4 seperate acounts that I use on both computers. Moz supports them fine... perhaps there is a problem in your Moz profile and you need to rebuild it.

Besides profile problems the only other thing I can think of is maybe you downloaed a nightly build by mistake.
