If you had to install a point-to-point wireless bridge, which hardware would you use? Is 802.11n the way to go? It's offices full of Macs, so my PC tools are useless.
N equipment is supposed to have the best range and throughput, and Apple's Airport products are supposed to be pretty good for N. Basically if you do N, make sure everything you use has an Atheros chipset (as Airports do). Their tech is reportedly far and away the best.
Thanks. Do they support external antennas? Do they support bridging in firmware?
To complicate things, the remote office needs (local) wifi. So I'll be bridging from the main office with a powerful directional antenna, then re-broadcasting locally with something else. Any suggestions?
