Rarely you get a Dell tech that will tell you facts about the hardware that aren't easy to find.
I had found on the net that Dell had, on some laptops, used a super thin, unusual, SSD.

Also I wanted to find out if it was under warranty, and if so, would I be voiding the warranty.

Not my computer.
