Congratulations, JoJo. You will make an excellent moderator. (Not that this place seems to need mods - what's the matter, are we all so old and boring that we don't ever shout at one another anymore? Sad, really.)

(Except me, of course. I shout at people all the time, but no-one seems to listen.)

This must have been one of the most boring elections ever witnessed. So far as Tannin and I could tell, it really didn't matter who won, as every candidate listed (and not a few of the non-candidates not listed) would have made a worthy winner. I voted for Blakewry, on the grounds that he is some fresh new blood around the place, but I would have been every bit as happy to vote for Santilli, Pradeep, or JoJo.

Or, indeed, any of us, because we are all extremely nice people.

(Except for those of us that happen to be extremely nice apes.)

(Or dolphins.)

(Not to mention cats.)

Errr ... I'll get out of your way now, and try to remember not to say anything that will bring the Wrath of JoJo down on my head for the next 18 months.
