RAID Memory

We have a number of small file servers running Adaptec 3200 RAID controllers with 2 Seagate X15s in RAID 1. The Adaptec cards have 32M of memory installed. Would the performance be better with more memory on the RAID card?

Rest of system: Intel 1.8GHZ Northword, Intel D845 MB, 1GB Crucial ECC RAM, and a Radeon 7500 video card.

IMO, not for RAID 1. For RAID 3 or 5 maybe, but not RAID 1.
