For a moment I thought the thread was spam for an ED treatment.

I don't see that the cache file is encrypted. I'd be worried about that. Also there's no mention of how deep the integration is or what the risk would be if the cache device is yanked suddenly (there's no risk of data loss/corruption in Vista).

ReadyBoost didn't do much in the first place. I saw so little (no) improvement that I pulled the thumb drive just to clean up "My Computer".

I took this for a trial run using a VM... and really couldn't tell the difference.

Not a good use for the old CF cards I have laying around....
