Standalone RFID/keypad solutions?

Does anyone have a preferred vendor or product? I need RFID and keypad, and there is no central management system. I'll need two (one to the elevator lobby, one in the elevator), but I don't want to screw with the cable chases required to get into the elevator. They can just be programmed separately.

If you mean the steel box the product is made of, I would hope so. If you mean the steel box of the elevator, the person operating it will also be in the elevator so that shouldn't be a problem.

The plan is that someone walking up from the street can use RFID pad 1 to gain access to the lobby (that door already has a magnetic release from an old comms system). Once they are in the elevator, they'll use the RFID pad 2 to enable access to the mezzanine level (which is currently controlled by a key, so shouldn't be difficult to wire in).

Security its more typically linked to proximity id. You might find more options there.
