Let's see if we can do a little better than last year.

Packers over Baltimore; Farve retires on top.

Eli will be the Giants' starting QB after their bye-week (Week 6), and they'll finish 7-9.

Janet Jackson isn't invited to perform during the half-time show.

It doesn't really matter, I heard on the radio this morning that there will be a 10 second delay this year. Also, the NFL will keep complete control of the half-time show, unlike last year when they farmed it out to MTV.

Irregardless, I stand by my prediction. :D

This year, a team from another nation will play. I predict the Alouette.

Yeah but I really want them to beat Green Bay in the Super Bowl!

It was all a dream anyway...the Lions might make it to the playoffs but they sure as hell won't be winning the Super Bowl.

I think that I jinxed my team by picking them here last year. So this year I'm picking to "jinx" the teams I hope to see loose big time.

Pittsburg over Carolina (via of beating Philadelphia again in the NFC Championship game!).

John Madden will have this year's "wardrobe malfunction", thereby scarring an entire generation of youth in a way that Janet Jackson's nipple just could not manage.

The NFL has hired a group of monkeys to produce the half-time show.

It will be a work of Shakespeare.

My prediction is the Eagles by 10 points, 17 to 10.

Will- I think I can safely say your prediction is wrong. :)

Personally, I think the Patriots will win and beat a 13 point spread.

I predict that this year's game will be held in a state which is home to neither team.

Go rent Pushing Tin. There's plenty of Jolie-related non-clothes-wearing scenes in that.

Personally, I'm not that impressed.

Pushing Tin was a crappy movie. Not worth wasting the time to see some T&A.

I predict I will have to dick around with my rabbit ears to pick up Fox-HD OTA because the bastards at Sinclair and TWC haven't pulled their finger out.

Revenge will be mine when I tell them to shove it and go Dish (once they've switched to MPEG-4).

I predict that they will play on a large field and it will have lines.
That would be great. Unfortunately, they're still playing on that tiny American rules field. Bah. When will Americans realize that football is meant to be played on a real-sized Canadian field with 12 people on each side... The NFL with Canadian rules would be a wonder to behold.

I think I've committed enough heresy for now. So I'll save my prediction for later.

Nah, they're not fast enough to cover that much real estate. I'd like to see Michael Vick make the DE's and linebackers chase him all over the field, though.

The problem is that they keep picking the ball up. Even Canadians do that!

What's the deal with using the wrong shape ball and touch it? It's football, after all!

If everyone who liked sports would die right now, I predict we would have a modest economic boom. :D

Hmm... don't quite understand the logic there. And if it was a joke of some sort I think it is in very bad taste.

Maybe RW's point is that the millions of $ that get spent on tickets & player salaries, etc. would be better spent on items that would improve the economy instead of on pointless entertainment.

While I don't wish death to sports fans, I will say that I don't really care about pro sports anymore. Too much business, not enough game. Too many greedy, whiny, immature, uneducated people involved (players, management, and fans).

I would rather have all the people that play professional sports die. I was talking about this a couple months ago with a friend and we both agreed that this would help the economy.

And no this is not a joke.

Nawww I don't wish death to anyone. Just stating a theory.
Actually you might say I wish LIFE to everyone who lives for sports . . . as in get one. :p

Just kidding. I'll love ya'll despite your faults.
