Did they not have any? Or did also you tell them you are like a Uh-Oh Oreo; White on the outside and black on the inside? 'Cause they might look at you funny for that.

In other words, did Merc ask in serious vein or as a smart-ass? Of course the employee may be clueless about the store's merchandise. The local Hallmark store is closing after the holidays.

How times change. Once upon a time, you were golden if you owned a Hallmark store. Some physicians even made so much money from their Hallmark store that they quit their practice. I guess email is mostly to blame for the decline of Hallmark, with the economy delivering the below-the-belt punch.
