I see that the latest 300x CF cards support UDMA. Does that mean that they are practically usable in the computer with some sort of IDE adapter?

I've been using regular CF cards as hard drives (with IDE adapters) in low-performance applications for years. What is the largest capacity/speed for a 300x card?

8GB @ 45MB/sec is quite respectable. RAID-0 a couple of them and you have quite the performance in a silent compact and cool package. Too bad all the new MoBos only support RAID on their SATA ports and only have 1 IDE port...

Where does one find the CF IDE adapter? Would it work with IDE to SATA adapter as well or is that too much to hope for?
